I'm sure the look on my face matched my disbelief. When one of the servers finally came over to us, she asked if we wanted to eat or drink something.
I don't envision this will necessarily deter people from going here, so I wish you a much more enjoyable experience. It looks like most or all of your images have alternative text. Use the to declare the intended language of your website.
RAUSCHENBACH deli - Good thing we decided quickly, otherwise there may have been a 4. One of the most popular café-bars in Dresden this is a great all purpose stop off.
I do not enjoy writing negative reviews. That being said, what I dislike even more is a negative dining experience. This was unexpectedly rauschenbach deli worst dining experience my husband and I have ever had, anywhere in the world. Therefore, I am taking the time to write this very detailed review. I don't envision this will necessarily deter people from going here, so I wish you a much more enjoyable experience. But here's how it went for us. Lots of reservations, and we lucked out with one of the last open rauschenbach deli. After asking if it was okay to sit at the table, which meant the staff knew we were there, we waited 15 minutes for any staff to acknowledge us, despite attempting to get their attention. When one of rauschenbach deli servers finally came over to us, she asked if we wanted to eat or drink something. We did, and she asked what, yet we didn't have menus. She gave us menus and took our drink order. A few minutes later, another server came over and asked if we wanted to eat something. We said yes and that we were still deciding, because we had just received the menus. He was obviously perturbed that we were taking so long because he made a face and walked away. Server 3 came to deliver our drinks and asked for our food order. Good thing we decided quickly, otherwise there may have been a 4. We were astounded at how quickly the food arrived. My husband had roasted goose with bread dumplings and red cabbage. This being prepared so quickly is understandable, and it was a pleasant dish. I had tagliatelle with a coconut milk sauce and chicken breast. Now, I'm not sure how a dish like this could possibly be prepared and served within five minutes, as pasta in general takes longer to cook than that. Aside from that curiosity, the presentation was pretty unappetizing. I added salt and pepper and it couldn't compensate. Then there was the chicken, which was cut into toddler size bites. Considering all of these unpleasant characteristics, I had no desire to eat it. She apologized and removed our dishes and we asked for our bill. I'm sure the look on my face matched my disbelief. So, we told her that we were still waiting on our bill, and she just asked if we were paying by card or cash. There was no apology or any indication that she realized she had kept us waiting. We paid and got the hell out of there. As she removed each plate, she scraped the food from one plate to the next in order to stack them. I wouldn't even do that in the comfort of my own dining room. Next, I imagine if more time was put into preparing the food, it would taste better. Finally, it was just a really, really bad experience from start to finish, so I don't quite understand how it's such a popular restaurant. Maybe, and hopefully, ours was an anomaly. Happy dining, wherever that may be. We had lunch here when visiting Dresden's christmas market. We were cold, needed to sit for awhile, and one can only eat so much bratwurst. Stopped here because it was between the market and our hotel, and the menu sounded good. What a waste of money. My daughter and I shared the stewed ox cheeks with bread dumplings and vegetables and it was basically awful. The vegetables were obviously frozen, not fresh. The dumplings dipped in the sauce were not bad, but they weren't nearly good enough to make up for the rest of it. Had the waitress ever come back to check on us, I probably would have complained. Waitresses were lovely which is why I gave it 1 star. rauschenbach deli We had chicken schnitzel with chips and mushroom sauce. The Chicken schnitzel tasted like it was overcooked or old, mushroom sauce wasn't great and chips were okay. We also had the mediterranean pasta which was finemuch better than the schnitzel. The food does not live up to the price nor the way this restaurant presents itself i. Maybe the other dishes are nice?. That being said, what I dislike even more is a negative dining experience. Happy dining, wherever that may be! Stopped here because it was between the market and our hotel, and the menu sounded good. Therefore, I am taking the time to write this very detailed review.
